Citric acid is one of the most widespread acids in the plant world. It can be found in almost all fruits, woods, funguses and even in tobacco. Lemon juice is composed of citric acid, between 5% and 7%.
It has a very wide range of uses from descaling, cleaning and dissolving limescale and It is completely biodegradable too.
Use with caution, reading the label before use is always required. Please note at high concentrations, citric acid is not suitable for use an enamel, aluminium, marble or surfaces sensitive to acids. Protect coloured fabrics from splashing.
